The place that moves us

The future of a place begins with the people who call it home.

In San Pablo, sport brings people together. Water sustains life. The land holds possibility. ASCAFROCOL organises that potential into projects.

Frequently asked

What to ask before you contribute.

Every answer comes from something published on this same page. If a question is missing, it is because we cannot yet answer it with evidence.

  • Can I contribute money today?

No. The contribution form is a simulation: no charge is made and no card details are requested. It exists to show how a contribution would connect to a specific budget line.

  • How much money has ASCAFROCOL received?

Nothing that this site publishes. What exists is a proposed budget of COP 10,000,000 for La Montañita, documented in PROYECTO MONTAÑITA.pptx. A proposed budget is neither funds raised nor money spent.

  • Where would my contribution go?

To the project you choose in the form. For La Montañita the budget is broken down line by line under Transparency, with each line’s figure and its share of the total. For the rest, the specific destination would be defined together with the community.

  • Is ASCAFROCOL legally constituted?

Yes. It has been registered with the Chamber of Commerce since 17 December 2020. The certificate is the document backing this section.

  • Are the figures in the financial example real?

No, and they are labelled as such. The fund-movement example carries a “demonstration data” label precisely because it represents no transactions, no audited reports and no impact efficiency.

  • Why are there no impact results?

Because results require evidence, and that evidence does not exist yet. Publishing beneficiary figures with no record behind them would be easier and would be false. When there is delivery there will be sources, and the sources will be published alongside the results.

  • Do you convert between currencies?

No. The COP and USD packages are independent and no conversion rate is applied between them. That is why the percentage against the budget is only calculated for contributions in COP, the currency the budget is written in.

  • Who answers for the organisation?

Leadership is five people and their profiles are in this same section. Each is published once its information is verified, not before: the section states how many of the five are published, so it is visible at a glance which part of the leadership is public and which is not.
